While the cost of initial equipment is the responsibility of the researcher, the HSRN team can provide some support.

Available Equipment

The HSRN team has some available equipment from past projects mostly consisting of 10G network cards. To inquire about the use of this equipment please contact us.

Grant Support

The HSRN team can assist with writing HSRN needs into your grants and funding proposals. We can also help directly acquire funding for projects involving the HSRN at NYU or externally.

DURF Grants

One of the more straightforward approaches would be to submit a DURF Grant Proposal either alone or as a collaboration between our teams, which if fully funded, funds the cost of all fiber equipment necessary for one of your machines, as well as extra 10G network cards. Our VIP team consists of students across many domains who are able to assist with completion of projects involving the HSRN and Research Technology Services.
