High Speed Research Network
The High-Speed Research Network (HSRN) is an independent, dedicated, low latency computer network that operates separately from the NYU enterprise network (NYU-NET). It is currently in an expansion and onboarding phase.
Corelink is a real time low latency network framework that facilitates connecting users, data, and applications with computational resources. Corelink software is open source and licensed under the MIT license.
We host a GitLab instance for our projects and the wider NYU community, providing code hosting, issue tracking, automated software builds or other tasks (CI), and static pages hosting under
sites.hsrn.nyu.edu or custom domains.
We operate an on-premise cluster running Kubernetes, an open-source container orchestration system. You can use it to run experiments or applications as containers. We currently have nodes in 7 different locations throughout the University.
